Prayer Advance 2026

We’re excited to welcome you to Prayer Advance 2026!

November 10–13, 2026

Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove
Asheville, North Carolina

Pastors, we can’t wait to welcome you to Asheville!

The Senior Pastor Prayer Advance is an opportunity to step away from the pace and pressure of ministry, spend meaningful time in God’s presence, and reconnect with brothers from across the Spirit & Truth Church Network.

This year, we’ll turn our attention toward the Great Commission and ask God to give us a fresh burden for those who do not yet know Jesus. We’re praying that you’ll leave rested, encouraged, and freshly empowered to reach the lost in your church, your city, and beyond.

Come ready to pray, worship, laugh, eat well, enjoy the mountains, and remember that you are not carrying the work of ministry alone.

What to Expect

Expect a relaxed and refreshing few days centered around:

  • Unhurried prayer and worship

  • Encouraging teaching and fresh vision

  • Honest conversation with other senior pastors

  • Time to rest, explore, and enjoy the mountains

  • Plenty of good food and brotherhood

  • A renewed focus on the Great Commission

The schedule is intentionally spacious. We want you to engage fully, but we also want you to breathe. Take a walk, grab coffee with another pastor, explore Asheville, or enjoy a well-earned nap. We won’t judge.

A Little About The Cove

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, The Cove was created as a place to step away from distraction and encounter God through prayer, Scripture, and rest. Its beautiful grounds, wooded walking trails, mountain views, and rich legacy of ministry make it an especially meaningful setting for our time together.

Take time to explore the property, visit Chatlos Memorial Chapel, or find a quiet place to pray. The scenery is beautiful—but November mornings in the mountains can be chilly, so spiritual warmth may need to be supplemented with an actual jacket.

Explore Asheville

You’ll have free time on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Whether you want to explore or stay put and enjoy the peace of The Cove, here are a few options:

Stay at The Cove
Walk the trails, visit Chatlos Memorial Chapel, browse Ruth’s Attic Bookstore, find a quiet place to pray, or simply rest. Sometimes the best itinerary is no itinerary.

Downtown Asheville
Explore local restaurants, coffee shops, bookstores, shops, and Asheville’s historic architecture. Downtown is approximately 10 miles from The Cove.

Blue Ridge Parkway
Take a scenic drive through the Blue Ridge Mountains, stop at an overlook, or fit in a short hike. Check road and weather conditions before heading out, as November closures are possible. View current Parkway conditions.

Biltmore Estate
Tour the historic Biltmore House and grounds. This is a larger outing and would be a good bookend to your trip to Asheville. Plan to reserve tickets in advance!

River Arts District
Explore working studios, galleries, local art, and places to eat along the French Broad River.

Black Mountain
This charming mountain town offers coffee shops, restaurants, bookstores, and local shops in a relaxed, walkable setting.

Find more ideas through the official Asheville visitor guide.
